Odisha High Court Peon Recruitment Educational Qualification

Orderly and Office Peon: Should have passed Class-VIII. He/She should have adequate knowledge and skill in cooking, cleaning,  housekeeping, and other household work. He/She must be willing to work even during odd hours.

Class IV: Should have passed Class VIII. He/She should have adequate knowledge and skill in cooking, cleaning, housekeeping, and other household work. He/She must be willing to work even during odd hours.

Mali: Should have passed Class-VIII. He/She should have adequate practical knowledge and skill in gardening. A gardener shall be a trained person, who has either undergone any special training in gardening or who has got experience in gardening for a period of at least three years either in a Government or Private Nursery/Farm.

 

Odisha High Court Peon Selection Process

Odisha High Court Peon Selection Process: The selection process consists of the Preliminary term, Written Test and Viva-voce. The marks distribution and minimum qualifying marks for each stage are given below. In the preliminary term, weightage will be given to special skills or experience in the field of Cooking, Housekeeping, plumbing, driving, sweeping, gardening, etc, and the obedience, discipline, and politeness of the candidates will be assessed. This stage is qualifying in nature.

Those who secure the minimum marks will be called for the Written Test, including a passage. The candidates are required to copy the passage in their handwriting in 30 minutes. They will be assessed on the basis of it. Those who secure the minimum marks here will have to appear for Viva-voce. The final merit list of candidates will be prepared on the basis of the marks of the Written Exam and Viva-voce.

Odisha High Court Peon Recruitment Exam Pattern: The exam pattern with marks is given below:

• Preliminary Test: 25 Marks (Qualifying) (Includes Preliminary Assessment of their suitability for the post) and candidates must not secure marks less than 12 marks.
• Written Test: 50 Marks. (Candidates must not secure marks less than 25 marks).
• Viva-voce Test: 25 Marks (minimum marks: 40%).
