Odisha CT Entrance 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility:

• The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary / +2 Examination in Arts / Science / Commerce or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards / Councils (the candidates shall have to submit an equivalent certificate from the competent authority) with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate(45% of mark in aggregate in case of SC, ST, SEBC and PH candidates) excluding marks secured in extra optional.
• The candidates who have appeared in their final year Higher Secondary / +2 Examinations in Arts / Science / Commerce or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards / Councils are also eligible to apply.
• She/he must have passed Odia as MIL up to HSC level or any such equivalent or higher examination (+2) or have passed Odia in single subject Examination conducted by BSE, Odisha of HSC standard or should have passed HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha in Odia medium with MIL other than Odia. Such candidates who have passed the HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha without Odia as MIL should produce a certificate to the effect from the Headmaster of the concerned school that he/she has passed the HSC Examination in Odia medium.

1. The candidates seeking admission in D.El.Ed. (Urdu) at Government ETEI, Urdu, Cuttack (100 seats) and in 25 seats of ETEI, Pahimahura, Bhadrak must have passed Urdu as MIL up to HSC standard / equivalent examination as notified by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack.
2. The candidates seeking admission in D.El.Ed. (Telegu) at Government ETEI, Telugu (50 seats) must have passed Telugu as MIL up to HSC standard/equivalent examination as notified by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack.

Odisha CT Entrance 2024 Eligibility to Apply for the Specific Course

6	D.El.Ed. (Christian Community)	Any eligible women Christian candidates (as per eligibility criteria) of the state
7	D.El.Ed. (Kandhamal Quota)	Any eligible candidates (as per eligibility criteria) of Kandhamal district only

Note: An eligible candidate can apply for any one option only out of the above seven categories.

• Section – I carries 30 marks. There shall be 30 questions, each carrying one mark.
  Section – II carries 60 marks. There shall be 60 questions each carrying one mark.
• All the questions shall be of multiple choice type.
• The test will be bi-lingual for all the subjects except the language subject.
  Each Question in the language section shall be available to candidates in Odia,
  Urdu, Telugu, and Santali.
• For every incorrect response, a 0.25 mark shall be deducted from the marks secured by the candidate for correct responses.

How to apply to Odisha CT Entrance Form 2024?

• Candidates should visit the website www.samsodisha.gov.in or the below link in this post.
• On the home page, find “D.El.Ed” under the School & Mass Education Tab and Click on it.
• Next page, click on the “New User Registration” link.
• On the registration page, candidates have to enter their Name, Email ID, and Mobile no to register and create a password.
• You can log in as ” Existing Student Login” with your Mobile no and password to fill up the application form.
• Fill out the application form and pay the required fee.
• After completion of the online application, you can save or take a printout of the confirmation page.
