Odisha Civil Service Coaching 2023: For poor but talented students of Odisha, getting trained in New Delhi by spending a considerable amount on fees and living expenses is a far cry. The state government had tried to address this problem by funding such training centers in various universities.

Though such centers take some time to stabilize, it is felt that there is an urgent need of selecting a Coaching Centre, which can provide coaching in a focused manner and also which has the credential of imparting effective coaching, and whose success rate is also high for providing coaching for Civil Service Examination and other UPSC Examinations.

The government of Odisha in the Higher Education Department selected ACQ IAS Academy following a transparent tender process. It has established its Centre in Bhubaneswar so that the Odia students will get the opportunity of coaching in their home State.  odisha civil service coaching 2023

Age Limit As On (01/08/2023)
  • 21-30 years (i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1993 and not later than 1st August 2002 in the case of Unreserved category students.).
  • Age Relaxation is Applicable as Per the Govt Rules.

 

Minimum Educational Qualifications Details
  • A candidate must have attained the minimum educational qualification, as on the
    1st of August, 2023, i.e., graduation or any equivalent qualification.

 

Facilities that will be provided to the aspirants during Preparation:

  1. Selected aspirants will get free coaching and free food with accommodation facilities in Bhubaneswar.
  2. Selected aspirants have to stay in the Accommodation provided by the Department.

Plan of Examination:

  • The Examination will be conducted offline. The Entrance Examination will consist of one paper of Objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 200 marks. There will be two sections, Section-A (General studies based), and Section-B(Aptitude Test based). The duration of the examination will be two hours.
  • The Section B of the Entrance Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.

Syllabus for Entrance Examination:

  • As per the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
  • Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (negative marking) for each wrong answer (0.5 per wrong mark) marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

Centre of Examination:

The entrance examination will be conducted in each of the 5(five) Regional Directorates of Education zones of the State, i.e., Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Jeypore, and Sambalpur.
