CTET JULY 2023: CTET or Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a national-level examination conducted by CBSE to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in schools across India. It is held twice a year, usually in the months of July and December.

The CTET Notification 2023 has been released by Central Teacher Eligibility Test-July 2023 on 27th April 2023 along with complete details on its official website www.ctet.nic.in.

CTET  July 2023 Educational Qualification
Class Educational Qualification
  • Class 1 to 5
  • Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the first year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the first year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
  • Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the first year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the first year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
  • Class 6 to 8
  • Graduation and passing or appearing in the first year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the first year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the first year of 4-year B.A/B. Sc. Ed or B.A.Ed/ B. Sc. Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
