• Written Examination

OPSC Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

• The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Chemist shall be made on the basis of the Written Examination & Viva Voce Test.
• The written examination shall comprise of two (02) papers i.e., Paper-1 (Organic & Analytical Chemistry) & Paper II (Physical & Inorganic Chemistry), each carrying 100 marks.
• Each Paper shall consist of 100 questions, each carrying one (01) mark of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) pattern.
• The duration of the examination shall be One & half (1%) Hours for each paper.
• There shall be negative marking for each wrong answer/ response with a deduction of 25% (one-fourth) of marks allotted to a particular question for both papers.
• The total marks for the Viva Voce test shall be 25 marks.
