• Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
• B.Ed. from an institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated with a recognized university.

Experience:                                    

• Person holding analogous post or post of principal in central/state/Autonomous Organization. OR                             
• The candidate working and has two years of experience as a principal in aided /semi Government /Private institutions having conducted at least two batched of 10th standard board examinations affiliated to CBSE/ICSE.

• Two years Integrated post Graduate Course with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/ SEBC candidates) in any of the following subjects; OR
• Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/ SEBC/PH candidates) in any of the following subjects; AND
• Bachelor Degree in Education (a course prescribed by NCTE) from an Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University.

• Physics/Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics.

• Chemistry/Biochemistry

• Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio. Science/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Bio-Technology/Molecular Bio/ Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation Level.

• Mathematics/Applied Mathematics

• Commerce. (However, the holder of a degree in M.Com. in Applied / Business Economics shall not be eligible.)

• Four-year integrated Degree course in the concerned subject from any recognized university with at least 50% aggregate .(45% for SC/ST)

                                     OR

• Bachelor’s Degree in arts and Science in the concerned subjects with 50% aggregate along with Degree in Bachelor in Education/3yr integrated B.A B.Ed. with 50% in aggregate from an institution recognized by NCTE.

• English as an Honours/ Pass/ Elective/Major/ Special Subject at graduation level.

• Bachelor Degree in Science with at least 200 marks in Mathematics as a Subject with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Statistics and Electronics. OR
• B.Tech/B.E. Degree with 200 marks in Mathematics and any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Statistics and Electronics.

• Bachelor Degree in Science having any three subjects out of the following i.e. Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Bio-Technology and LifeScience.

• One must have a subject in B.A in any 01 of the following 04 subjects: History, Geography, Pol. Sc. & Economics. In addition, he/she should have 01 more subject out of the following 08 subjects without repetition of the same subjects as at above : History, Geography, Pol. Sc., Economics, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Indian Geography, Landmark in Indian History as Honours/elective/ pass.

• Bachelor’s Degree in fine Art/Visual Art.
• Proficiency teaching in Odia and English
• Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.

• Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education i.e. B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed. (a course prescribed by NCTE) from a recognized University/Institution.
• Proficiency to teach in Odia & English medium.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or I.T./MCA/M.Sc. I.T/ M.Sc. Computer Science from a recognized University. OR
• ‘B’ Level of DOEACC / NIELIT in Computer Science from a recognized University. OR
• B.C.A/B.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized University. (ii) Competence to teach through English & Odia medium.
