OAVS Recruitment 2023: Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya Sangathan has released an official notification to fill up 1010 posts for principals and teachers of various disciplines on its official website @oav.edu.in.

According to the notification released, the online application will begin on 7th March 2023, and the last date to apply online is 6th April 2023 whereas the last date to submit the fee online is 8th April 2023. Principal
  • Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
  • B.Ed. from an institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated with a recognized university.

Experience:                                    

  • Person holding analogous post or post of principal in central/state/Autonomous Organization. OR                             
  • The candidate working and has two years of experience as a principal in aided /semi Government /Private institutions having conducted at least two batched of 10th standard board examinations affiliated to CBSE/ICSE.
For all PGT
  • Two-year integrated postgraduate course with at least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following subjects.

  • Mater Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following subjects.

  • One must have BA in any of the following subjects: History, Pol science, and Economics in addition one should have 01 more subjects out of the following subjects: History, Pol Science, Economics, Geography, and Indian polity.
ART Teacher 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in fine Art/Visual Art.
  • Proficiency teaching in Odia and English
  • Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.

 

OAVS Recruitment 2023 General Qualification

  • The candidate must have passed the Class X standard in MIL Odia.
  • The candidate not having Odia as a subject up to Class X standard must have qualified at the single-subject Odia examination up to High School standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Cuttack, Odisha.
  • Candidates having Masters’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Science with Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the any University of the State as applicable for different posts.
  • All candidates (except in-service candidates) must have passed the Odisha Secondary Schools Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET)/ CTET conducted by BSE/ CBSE (at the secondary level) in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
  • The candidates who have not passed the OSSTET/ CTET but are otherwise eligible for the post may apply for the post with the condition that they shall have to pass OSSTET/ CTET within 3 years of joining the post. They have to furnish an Undertaking to this effect during the interview.
