Naval Ship Repair Yard Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- SSC / Matric / 10 Standard Pass with 50% Aggregate. And
- ITI (NCVT / SCVT) Pass with 65% Aggregate.
- Note: Qualification for the candidates who are to be enrolled as Crane Operator Overhead (Steel Industry) and Forger & Heat Treater trade shall be 10th Pass and for Rigger Trade, the qualification for the candidates shall be 8th Pass.
Naval Ship Repair Yard Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
- Preliminary selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the Matric and ITI examinations.
- Candidates in the Preliminary Merit list will be called for the written examination scheduled to be held at Karwar in Jan 2025.
- A call letter for a written examination will be issued to all eligible candidates on their registered email ID.

- There will be No negative marking.
- The question paper will be bilingual in both English and Hindi.
- A merit list shall be prepared on the basis of a written examination.
- Candidates in the order of merit would be called for document verification/interview in various trades and applicable reservation categories.
- An interview is based on the technical skills of the candidates in the respective trade.
- A joining letter will be issued to the selected candidates on their registered email ID.
- Two separate merit lists will be drawn for two establishments i.e. one for Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar and one for Naval Aircraft Yard (Goa).
