ESIC Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

ECG Technician:

• 10+2 in Science or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• Two years Diploma in ECG from Central or State Government or AICTE-recognized institute.

Junior Radiographer:

• 12th class pass with Science from a recognized Board.
• Certificate or Diploma in Radiography (Two years Duration) from a recognized Institute.

O.T. Assistant:

• Senior Secondary/10+2 with Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board with one year experience in O.T. of a recognized Hospital.

Radiographer:

• 12th class pass with Science from a recognized Board.
• Diploma or Certificate in Radiography (Two years Duration) from a recognized Institute; And
• One year experience in Radiography in a recognized Hospital or Medical Institute.

Junior Medical Laboratory Technologist:

• 12th class pass with Science subjects from recognized Board.
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technologist from any government-recognized institution with one year of relevant experience.
• Desirable qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.

Dental Mechanic:

• 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Science from a government recognized Board or School.
• Diploma (two years duration) in Dental Mechanics from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India for such purpose.
• Should be registered with the Dental Council.
• Two years experience in the relevant field from a recognized hospital.

Medical Record Assistant:

• 12th class pass from a recognized Board or University.
• Certificate of Medical Record Technician training from a recognized institute.
• A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on the computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute corresponds to 10500 key depressions per hour or 9000 key depressions on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

Audiometer Technician:

• Four years degree in Audiology including one-year internship; OR
• Two years Diploma in audiology with two years of practical experience as an Audiometer Technician in a hospital or organization of the Central or State Government or autonomous or Statutory body or Public Sector undertaking or University or recognized institute.

Social Guide/Social Worker:

• Degree/Diploma in social work from a Central Govt./State government/AICTE recognized Institution preferably with one year of experience in family planning, social work/Health Education/Training.

Pharmacist (Allopathic):

• Degree in pharmacy/Sr. Secondary with a Diploma in pharmacy from a recognized institution and qualified & registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, of 1948.

Pharmacist (Ayurveda):

• 12th class passed with Science stream (Physics or Chemistry or Biology) from a recognized board and;
• Bachelor of Pharmacy in Ayurveda from a Central Government or State government-recognized institute with one year of experience as a Pharmacist (Ayurveda) from any Central Government or State government-recognized Ayurvedic Dispensary or Hospital. OR
• Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy (said diploma is not less than 2 years duration) from a
  Central Government or State Government recognized institute with three years experience as a Pharmacist (Ayurveda) from any Central Government or State Government recognized Ayurvedic Dispensary or Hospital.

Pharmacist (Homeopathy):

• 12th class passed with Science stream from a recognized Board and
• Diploma or Certificate course in Homeopathic Pharmacy of at least a year duration from a Central or State Government recognized institution.
• Desirable qualification: Basic knowledge of computers.

ESIC Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

• The candidates qualifying in the Phase-I Written Examination shall be considered for final selection on the basis of their performance in the Phase-I Written Examination.
• For the post of Medical Record Assistant, the final selection will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in the Phase–I Written Examination and Typing/Data Entry Test (Qualifying in nature).

• There will be negative marking at the rate of 0.25 marks to be deducted for every wrong answer.
• The Qualifying Marks in the Written Online Exam will be 45% for the UR Category, 40% for OBC Category & EWS category, 35% for SC, ST & Ex-Servicemen and 30% for PWD Category.
• The candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks out of 100 marks in the Test 1 i.e. Technical/Professional Knowledge having 60 minutes’ duration. Similarly, the candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks out of a total of 50 marks in Test 2 – General Awareness, Test 3 – General Intelligence, and Test – 4 Arithmetic Ability having 60 minutes duration.

Phase-II Scheme of Exam. of Typing/Data Entry Test for the post of Medical Record Assistant:

2. On the home page, click on the option reading- “Apply Online for Recruitment to the post of Paramedical Group c”

4. You will be redirected to the registration page, you have to fill in the required details there such as Name, Contact details, etc.
5. To validate your registration process an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile no., you just have to fill that OTP on the ESIC portal.
6. After confirming the registration process, you will be able to fill out the application form. Here you have to fill in the required details.
7. To complete your application process, candidates have to pay their application fees.
8. Upload the documents as required in the application form in the prescribed size.
9. After completing the application process, candidates have to download the application form and also have to take a printout of the application form for the further examination process.
